Selective Emitter:

Mitsubishi electric has introduced a new selective emitter process in which only the area in contact with the electrodes is doped with high concentrations of phosphorus to create a P/N junction to maintain both high conductivity and low carrier charge losses. This improvement resulted in an approximate 5% increase in cell output.


Half-cut Cell: 

Each cell is in half cut sizes in a parallel formation to reduce the amount of electrical current by each busbar. This results in decreased electrical resistance and an increase in overall efficiency of about 2.5%.

 4 Busbar Cell:

Most solar cells have 2 busbars where electrical current flows through each electrode. Through an industry-leading innovation of integrating 4 busbars into each cell, internal electrical resistance is reduced, boosting cell output by 3%. This means less electricity flow loss and higher cell efficiency.

Newly Re-designed Junction Box:

The top safety and fire protection has a four-layer encapsulating design that reduces the amount of heat emitted by approximately 66%. This means that in the highly unlikely event that a fire should occur, the junction box is designed to enclose the flames, and not let them spread to other areas. It is also certified as IP67, the highest standard for water and dust sealing.

 Anti-reflective Glass:

AR-treated glass improves light transmittance. This improvement leads to a 2% module output increase. The modules also use a non-porous type of anti-reflective coating, which is more resistant to the adhesion of dust than porous types.

Lead-free Solder:

Mitsubishi was the first Japanese manufacturer to introduce (and still use) 100% lead-free solder in the inter-cell connections as another initiative contributing to environment protection.

Cell Uniformity:

Every cell produced is measured for electrical characteristics and undergo a very strict selection process before assembling into a module. This ensures uniformity of characteristics for optimal performance.

Module Barcode:

Every individual module is marked with a unique identifiable barcode, which is used for tracking the module through all of the production steps as part of the quality control.

 Linear Output Warranty:

The new module series feature a 25-year linear output warranty, which guarantees 5.5% more output performance than a standard tiered warranty. Three: Reliable Solar Products

Improved Frame:

The classic L-frame now has a smarter protection bar insert and redesigned end frames. As a result, the strength of the new frame increases by approximately double that of the original L-frame.

 Double Corrosion-resistant Frame Coating:

The highly durable aluminum frame is treated with two separate corrosion-resistant coatings for excellent durability and a beautiful finish.

Internal Testing Standards:

Mitsubishi PV modules undergo very rigorous internal testing, using strict parameters that are well above those required by international standards. Only after confirmation of it’s design reliability is it introduced into mass production.

Installable in Areas with High Salt Concentration:

Normally high salt content in the air can cause serious damage to PV structures and pose an electrical safety hazard by causing corrosion. However, due to the design and quality of materials used, Mitsubishi modules can be safely installed in areas with high salt concentration in the air.
